My wife and i sometimes felt like getting involved with some contemporary culture this weekend. So we engaged our children's favourite babysitter and went to town.
MotorFM had announced a "Motor Club" event in a club called "
Shocken" in Stuttgart. I like the club, i like MotorFM, so we went there to see "
Gods of Blitz" live. In the internet we could not find any deeper description of this band other then "a rockband". And i must say: There is nothing more about it. They are a rockband. Not bad, not good, not extreme, not boring, just a rockband. My wife and i drank some beer, stayed for 30 minutes, extremely bored and wondered why this band was promoted by
fourMusic and MotorFM. We really wanted to give them a chance. But they moved absolutely nothing inside us. This really does not happen too often. Usually bands are either good or bad or boring or strange or extreme or avantgarde. These guys were absulutely nothing of this. Just flatline. So in the end we decided to go to "
Cortijo" for some shrimps in garlic and spanish wine and ended the evening a little bit confused about what we had just seen...
